US-Israel Strikes Intensify in Second Week of War with Iran
The ongoing war between the US-Israel alliance and Iran has now moved into its second week of intense escalations. US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has stated that today will mark the "most intense" strikes against Iran, including bombers like the B-2s attacking Iranian missile sites beneath the ground. While Netanyahu has pledged to continue "breaking the bones" of the Iranian regime, the Iranian parliament has vowed to continue with its defiance, rejecting a ceasefire agreement. The war has resulted in a massive energy crisis, with the Strait of Hormuz now de facto closed and energy prices skyrocketing worldwide. The humanitarian losses are also increasing, with over 1,200 now dead in Iran and 700,000 displaced in Lebanon, as a shooting incident at the US consulate in Toronto is still under investigation.
